Dear ZIM Customer,

It is my honor to take on the position of ZIM’s President and CEO as of July 1st, 2017.

My predecessor, Rafi Danieli, has steered ZIM through rough seas, and leaves behind an impressive legacy. We all wish him the very best.

ZIM is a dynamic organization, with a proud, decades-long heritage. I have met with many of ZIM’s professionals in the past three months, and I am confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional service with outstanding results. ZIM, like the entire industry, has weathered substantial transformations in recent years, and today stands as a top industry performer, dedicated to improved profitability.

This remarkable achievement is due to two core strategies: First, directing our efforts, resources, and expertise to become a service and sales leader, as well as a truly customer-oriented company. We constantly focus on customers’ needs, which stand at the heart of all our decisions. Second, leveraging "the power of being independent" by positioning ZIM as an independent global niche carrier with new ocean networks. These networks enable us to operate in select trades where we have a competitive advantage and can provide superior service. 
 
As CEO, my primary goal is to continue this positive momentum and lead ZIM to greater heights.

ZIM has made it, thanks to the hard work of its staff, the solid backing of its shareholders and, above all, your support and loyalty. You have recognized ZIM’s strengths and remained a loyal customer during prosperous times and more challenging ones. We thank you for your continued confidence.
